About the position

The Radiologic Evaluator Technical Lead at Precision Castparts Corp. serves as the on-site technical resource for addressing daily issues related to process and inspection staff. This role involves assisting with process control, cross-training employees, and ensuring adherence to quality requirements. The Technical Lead is responsible for fostering teamwork, conducting training, and providing feedback for continuous improvement, while also managing technical performance issues and facilitating communication across departments.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in staffing projections and handle first line technical performance issues.
  • Communicate respectfully with employees regarding workmanship issues and notify supervision for further action.
  • Train employees on new skills and improve technical performance to satisfactory levels.
  • Provide feedback and coaching for continuous improvement of inspection personnel.
  • Coordinate resources to assist different teams to meet daily throughput and support outside departments.
  • Ensure quality requirements are followed and correct deficiencies in processes.
  • Facilitate technique card and router changes and participate in root cause analysis for variant conditions.
  • Set up molding parameters on new tools and evaluate current parameters for process improvement.
  • Review tool shots for part quality and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Maintain and clean dies, lubricate, and repair as necessary.

Requirements

  • Certification in required areas based on departmental needs or ability to certify within 90 days.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Experience in making shop floor presentations to customers and engineering.

Nice-to-haves

  • TATS certification and other relevant certifications based on departmental needs.

Benefits

  • Full-time position with competitive salary range of $96.2K - $122K per year.
