The position involves performing general radiology and fluoroscopy procedures, including portable and/or diagnostic procedures, for patients across all age groups, from neonates to geriatrics. The role requires working rotating weekends, holidays, and being on call for diagnostic radiology services. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality imaging services while maintaining patient safety and comfort during procedures. This position is critical in providing essential diagnostic information to assist in patient care and treatment planning. Candidates must hold the necessary certifications, including ARRT (N), ARRT (R), or NMTCB certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. Additionally, a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) approved provider is required. New hires must obtain AHA certification before completing their orientation. The role demands competence in performing examinations and procedures on patients of all ages, demonstrating knowledge of human growth and development, and providing radiologic services tailored to the needs of neonates, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. The position also requires the ability to work under stress and maintain a professional demeanor when dealing with upset or uncooperative patients, as well as collaborating effectively with all levels of employees and staff members. The job is classified as non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
