About the position

United Medical Systems is seeking an ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist to assist with Radiology and Lithotripsy procedures. The role involves working closely with Urologists and OR staff, operating specialized equipment, and ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures. This position offers extensive training and a guaranteed pay structure, making it an excellent opportunity for those looking to advance their careers in medical imaging.

Responsibilities

  • Train on the job to become proficient with anatomy and locating kidney stones on x-rays and fluoroscopy.
  • Accommodate a flexible schedule and travel as applicable, with occasional overnight stays.
  • Operate Lithotripter in the Operating or Procedure Room.
  • Complete daily documentation for equipment and patient.
  • Assist Urologist and facility staff.
  • Set up equipment, perform daily quality checks, and prepare equipment for transport.

Requirements

  • Current ARRT certification.
  • State licensure, as applicable.
  • Current Healthcare provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or must complete within thirty (30) days of employment.
  • Ability to work without direct supervision but willing to request help when appropriate.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
