About the position
The Radiologic Technologist at Erlanger Health System is responsible for performing technical tasks related to operating radiographic equipment and producing radiographs of specific body areas. This role supports the Urgent Care Center and involves both clinical and administrative duties, including assisting healthcare providers with patient care and managing clerical and organizational tasks.
Responsibilities
- Operate radiographic equipment to produce images of designated body parts.
- Assist healthcare providers with patient care in the Urgent Care Center.
- Handle clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks as needed.
- Perform administrative duties to support the medical practice.
Requirements
- Registered radiologic technologist with A.R.R.T. RT (R).
- BLS certification completed prior to going to the unit/department and maintained thereafter.
- Minimum one year of recent experience working in a medical facility or medical office as a radiologic technologist.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Electrocardiogram (EKG).
- Current experience with vital signs, venipuncture, capillary, and injection.
