The Radiologic Technologist at Highlands ARH Regional Medical Center is responsible for performing interpretive, patient care, and technical functions to ensure proper radiologic diagnosis of patients. This position is essential in providing high-quality imaging services and requires a commitment to patient care and safety.

Perform radiologic imaging procedures as per physician orders.
Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
Maintain and operate radiologic equipment effectively.
Document patient information and imaging results accurately.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, including OSHA standards.

Must be a graduate of an approved two or four-year program in radiologic technology.
Completion of a clinical program is required.
Must possess or be eligible for a Kentucky state license to practice as a Radiologic Technologist.
Ability to communicate effectively and document information accurately.
Ability to deal efficiently and effectively with a wide variety of individuals.
Knowledge of basic medical terminology is preferred.
Basic computer knowledge is preferred.
Ability to move or lift patients and equipment as necessary.
Ability to work independently within general guidelines.
Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing.
Required to comply with OSHA regulations for N95 respirator training and fit testing.
