About the position

The Radiologic Technologist - Medical Assistant position at CareNow involves providing exceptional patient care through various imaging services and clinical support tasks. The role requires a commitment to maintaining accurate patient records and assisting with patient interactions in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform x-ray and imaging services as directed by providers
• Collect patient history and maintain electronic health records
• Assist with patient check-in and check-out
• Apply splints, dressings, and bandages as needed
• Maintain accurate records of clinic activities
• Keep patients and visitors informed of clinic progress

Requirements

• 1+ year of clinical experience preferred
• Graduate of an accredited school of Medical Assistants or completion of an approved program
• Current license as a General Medical Radiology Technician (GMRT), Limited Medical Radiology Technician (LMRT), or Non-Registered Technician (NCT) required
• Current certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) preferred
• Current BLS Certification required
