About the position

Central Maine Healthcare is seeking a Radiological Technologist to join the Diagnostic Imaging Team at Bridgton Hospital. This role involves performing a variety of imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety protocols are followed. The Radiological Technologist will interface with customers to meet their imaging needs and will be trained to perform both X-Ray and CT procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of imaging procedures including X-Ray and CT scans.
  • Ensure patient safety protocols are adhered to during imaging procedures.
  • Interface with customers to understand and fulfill their imaging needs.
  • Maintain proficiency with imaging equipment and software, including GE, Siemens, Phillips, and Toshiba.

Requirements

  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technologist with current ARRT or NMTCB Certification in Computed Tomography.
  • Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BCLS certification or re-certification due within 1 month of expiration.
  • Knowledge of general anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
  • High level of knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy when performing CT.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with imaging equipment from GE, Siemens, Phillips, and Toshiba.
