About the position

The Radiologic Technologist PRN position at MD Now involves performing radiological and lab duties in accordance with licensing requirements while also managing front desk responsibilities. The role emphasizes excellence in customer service and patient satisfaction, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Perform all x-ray views according to provider's orders and clinical practice under state law.
• Document patient records according to established clinical practice and company policies.
• Conduct drug screens, urinalysis, and other in-house lab tests accurately.
• Process specimens for reference labs.
• Support front desk duties including greeting patients and checking them in/out.
• Maintain, calibrate, and perform controls on lab/x-ray equipment daily.
• Inspect and report artifacts from the x-ray screen.
• Complete semi-annual X-Ray inspections.
• Maintain records and logs on activities including in-house lab work and x-rays.
• Work closely with the Center Manager, Medical Staff, and Front Desk Coordinator to maintain smooth operations.
• Follow all company policies pertaining to infection control and hand hygiene.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Services required.
• 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting preferred.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist, ARRT Certification required.
• State licensure may be required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of start required.
• Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification within 30 days of start required.
• Federal Drug Screening Certification within 30 days of start required.
• Must obtain and maintain state license for Office Laboratory Assistant within 30 days of employment or promotion.
