About the position

The Radiologic Technologist at Moses Lake Community Health Center will be responsible for providing radiographic studies for medical patients. This role involves processing radiology orders, obtaining clear and concise radiographic images, and transmitting these images to the Radiologist group for interpretation. The position also includes performing administrative duties as required.

Responsibilities

• Processes the Provider's radiology order.
• Obtains accurate, clear, and concise radiographic images.
• Transmits images to the Radiologist group for interpretation.
• Performs administrative duties such as invoices and patient logs.

Requirements

• Basic organizational skills to organize own work.
• Ability to work independently in response to workflow or direction from supervisors.
• Knowledge and training in Radiology, typically acquired through an Associates degree or trade school program in Radiographic Technology.
• Ability to obtain a Washington State Radiographic Technologist license.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word for basic correspondence and simple reports.
• Ability to create, send, and manage email in Outlook.
• Ability to use Microsoft Excel for creating tables and simple displays of information.
• Experience with EMR for data entry and management.
• Fully functional in the use of the EMR program and VXvue.
• Effective communication of complex and technical information to co-workers and others.
