About the position

The Radiology Administrative Assistant/Database Specialist provides essential administrative support to the Director of Radiology, Cardiology, and Neurology. This role involves coordinating meetings, managing complex schedules, maintaining databases, and assisting with budget data uploads and presentations. The position requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and proficiency in various software applications to ensure smooth departmental operations.

Responsibilities

  • Arrange, coordinate, and prepare meetings, conference calls, and other events.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, paperwork, and publish updated databases for weekly Team Leader meetings.
  • Update and maintain the Director's complex Outlook schedule.
  • Create, manage, and report on Excel databases and reporting tools.
  • Upload budget data to the Hospital's Financial Management system and prepare departmental budgets for review.
  • Create PowerPoint presentations with the department Director as needed.
  • Facilitate and organize collegiate orientation sessions and track onboarding paperwork.
  • Scan and maintain electronic staff credentialing and education databases.
  • Collect, log, scan, and file monthly departmental physics testing and quality assurance documentation.
  • Maintain filing and tracking of ACR/IAC, service contracts, and ongoing staff education.

Requirements

  • A.S Degree in a related field required; B.S Degree preferred.
  • Medical Terminology required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Publisher.
  • Strong administrative assistant experience required.
  • High level of computer proficiency required.
