The Radiology Clerk position is a part-time role providing clinical and clerical support for imaging services. The clerk is responsible for assisting in patient throughput, scheduling, and monitoring work queues, while also ensuring effective communication with technologists, nurses, and providers. This role is essential for maintaining patient confidentiality and facilitating the smooth operation of radiology services.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and clerical support for imaging services.
• Assist in patient throughput and scheduling.
• Monitor work queues and obtain outside films/preparing imaging discs.
• Answer and return telephone calls in a timely manner with proper etiquette.
• Check in patients efficiently and accurately.
• Act as a liaison between Radiologist and ordering physicians/offices.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect patient privacy at all times.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Some job-related experience.
