About the position

The Radiology Engagement Specialist is responsible for driving growth in radiology services by maintaining and developing relationships with referral sources through a consultative sales approach. This role requires excellent communication and collaboration skills, as the Specialist will work closely with various departments and other specialists to achieve sales goals and enhance service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve and exceed forecasted net revenue budget by increasing volume and revenue with new and existing referral sources.
  • Improve strategic engagement and deliver on expectations surrounding sales process and call activity compliance.
  • Deliver effective and compelling positioning, messaging, and sales tools that are understood by the market.
  • Execute messaging and meaningful interactions that apply personality profiling to drive new business and revenue.
  • Develop quarterly business plans with measurable goals and focus on target accounts.
  • Plan and establish strategic call routing cycle to maximize call effectiveness.
  • Meet a minimum of 12-15 daily face-to-face visits.
  • Complete daily call note documentation within Salesforce.
  • Engage referring physicians' offices utilizing the MQ sales process to promote system radiology services.
  • Attend and participate in health system events to represent the radiology service line.
  • Develop and maintain a complete and current territory route.
  • Utilize clinical tools available to increase referral sources.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree or higher.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years prior sales experience.
  • Proven leadership skills and strong record of achievement.
  • Network development experience.
  • Strong customer/account development and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of any organization comfortably.
  • Strong understanding of the diagnostic imaging business and assigned territory.
  • Ability to evaluate business trends and complete a competitive analysis.
  • Proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in Salesforce development and usage.
  • Comfort with PACS, EMR, and additional medical IT systems and processes.
