About the position

The Radiology Front Desk & Call Center Specialist at Total MRI & Diagnostic Center is responsible for providing exceptional customer service as the first point of contact for clients. This role involves managing administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment, ensuring a welcoming experience for patients and visitors while handling various communication and scheduling duties.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and visitors with professionalism and warmth, ensuring a welcoming experience.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing calls, efficiently directing them to the correct departments.
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments, maintaining accuracy in the calendar system.
  • Collect, update, and manage patient records, ensuring confidentiality of medical and insurance information.
  • Verify insurance coverage and process associated paperwork promptly.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including filing, scanning, and faxing.
  • Provide top-tier customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns with care.

Requirements

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (REQUIRED).
  • 1+ years of experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Experience in healthcare call centers (inbound/outbound) with a focus on patient communication.
  • Familiarity with insurance verification and authorizations.
  • Strong communication skills with patients both in person and over the phone.
  • Friendly, solution-oriented personality with excellent problem-solving skills.
