The Radiology Intern position at Mercy Hospital Oklahoma City is a per diem role designed for individuals currently enrolled in a nationally accredited School of Radiologic Technology. Under the supervision of licensed professionals, the intern will perform diagnostic radiology procedures, ensuring optimal image quality while providing compassionate care to patients of all ages. Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiology procedures under supervision.
• Ensure optimal image quality during radiographic imaging procedures.
• Provide personalized care to patients, recognizing their worth and dignity.
• Comply with patient care quality standards for all age groups, from neonate to geriatric.
• Assist in manipulating radiology equipment and selecting exposure factors.
• Lift, move, and transport patients as needed.
• Adapt to a fast-paced daily workload and recognize emergency situations.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Currently enrolled in the second year of a nationally accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic computer knowledge.
