About the position

The Radiology Intern position at Mercy Hospital Oklahoma City South is a part-time role designed for individuals currently enrolled in a nationally accredited School of Radiologic Technology. Under the supervision of licensed professionals, the intern will perform diagnostic radiology procedures, ensuring optimal image quality while providing compassionate care to patients of all ages. Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiology procedures under supervision.
• Ensure optimal image quality during radiographic imaging procedures.
• Provide personalized care to patients, recognizing their worth and dignity.
• Ensure compliance with patient care quality standards for all age groups.
• Manipulate X-ray equipment and evaluate radiographs.
• Communicate effectively with patients and staff.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Currently enrolled in a nationally accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic computer knowledge.
