About the position
The Radiology RN at Dignity Health - Community Hospital of San Bernardino is responsible for providing nursing care in the Diagnostic Imaging department. This role involves assessing patient needs, initiating appropriate interventions, and maintaining nursing standards in accordance with hospital policies. The RN will also coordinate educational programs and participate in quality improvement initiatives within the department.
Responsibilities
- Assess nursing needs and initiate appropriate interventions for patients in the Diagnostic Imaging department.
- Maintain standards of nursing care and practice within the nursing department.
- Coordinate and conduct education programs and in-services for staff, physicians, and patients.
- Participate in the quality improvement committee of the Imaging Department.
- Attend monthly department staff and supervisor meetings.
- Schedule procedures and interact with other departmental and hospital employees.
Requirements
- Previous Interventional radiology experience, or 2 years of ED, ICU or O.R. experience.
- PICC Line experience preferred.
- California Registered Nurse license (R.N).
- Current basic life support certificate (BCLS for Healthcare Provider).
- Current Advanced life support certificate (ACLS).
