About the position

The Radiology Technologist at SCA Health plays a crucial role in supporting surgical procedures by operating C-ARM equipment and performing radiographic procedures. This position is integral to ensuring high-quality patient care and safety during radiological services, contributing to the overall mission of delivering exceptional healthcare outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Running C-ARM intraoperatively during surgical procedures.
• Performing radiographic procedures.
• May be assigned radiation safety officer and/or life skills officer duties.
• Inventory, receive, and restock materials used for radiological services.
• Performing all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited radiology program.
• ARRT (The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification as required by state.
• Successful completion of BLS - CPR Course within 90 days of employment required or documentation of current certification.

Nice-to-haves

• Certification in radiation technology is preferred.
