About the position
The Radiology Technician position at Moberly Physician Clinics involves performing radiological examinations and producing radiographs to assist in diagnosing medical issues. Responsibilities
- Arrange patients for radiological examinations.
- Produce radiographs (x-rays) to aid in diagnosis of medical problems.
- Prevent patients from being exposed to unnecessary radiation.
- Follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform job functions.
- Administer nursing care in a clinic under the supervision of a registered nurse.
- Participate in the delivery and evaluation of patient care.
- Ensure the health, comfort, and safety of patients.
- Plan and accomplish goals based on experience and judgment.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology (hospital-based or college degree program).
- Registration as a technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
- Minimum of two years of experience preferred.
