About the position

The Radiology Technician II Reg at Las Palmas Medical Center is responsible for performing a variety of radiology services under the direction of a Radiologist. This role requires independent judgment and technical expertise to ensure high-quality patient care and safety. The technician will work with patients of all ages, utilizing radiology equipment to conduct examinations while adhering to safety protocols and maintaining equipment and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiology services at a technical level requiring no constant supervision.
• Conduct a variety of technical procedures with independent judgment.
• Ensure operation of radiology equipment through preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Maintain radiology supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
• Comply with legal and professional requirements in radiology practices.
• Maintain professional knowledge through educational workshops and professional societies.
• Prepare patients for radiological procedures and minimize radiation exposure.
• Document patient care services accurately in records.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures.

Requirements

• BLS Certification
• ARRT Certification
• High school diploma or GED
• Registered Radiologic Technician
