About the position
The Radiology Technologist position in West Florida involves performing radiographic procedures, ensuring patient safety, and adhering to radiation safety protocols. This full-time, permanent role offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic procedures including basic X-ray, Operating Room, and fluoroscopy procedures.
- Ensure radiation doses for patients remain within safe ALARA limits.
- Follow radiation safety best practices.
- Demonstrate skills and knowledge necessary to assess the age-specific needs of patients and provide appropriate care.
- Enhance professional growth and development through participation in educational programs and in-service meetings.
Requirements
- ARRT certification
- Associate's Degree in Science (or higher)
- Experience is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
