About the position
The Radiology Technologist II position is a per diem role at a health center, primarily focused on performing general radiography. This position requires the technologist to be proficient in operating radiographic equipment and ensuring high-quality imaging for diagnostic purposes. The technologist will also assist in various administrative tasks, including answering phones and scheduling exams, which are essential for maintaining the workflow of the radiology department. Additionally, the role involves managing file room functions, ensuring that patient records and imaging files are organized and accessible. The position requires the technologist to be available for on-call duties, with a minimum expectation of being on call at least one weekend per month. Responsibilities
- Perform general radiography procedures to obtain high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Answer phones and assist in scheduling exams for patients.
- Manage file room functions to ensure patient records are organized and accessible.
- Be available for on-call duties, including at least one weekend per month.
Requirements
- Current X-ray license (State and National) is required.
- CPR Certification is mandatory.
