About the position

The Radiotherapy Specialist is responsible for working directly with key customers and regulators to secure appropriate radiopharmaceutical licensing. This role involves providing technical training, support for licensing logistics, and enhancing clinical relationships with oncology professionals. The position requires significant travel within the Southwest territory, including states like Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, Wyoming, and Montana.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with key customers and regulators to help secure appropriate radiopharmaceutical licensing
  • Profile customers and generate business
  • Assist customer sites with state amendment process
  • Provide sites with agreement state mandated training
  • Provide training on handling, administration and radiation safety
  • Assist sites with establishing a dial setting for Radium-223 with a NIST calibration source
  • Provide technical in-services, training, and supports licensing logistics
  • Respond to radiation safety committee inquiries
  • Build relationships and provide training to state regulators and inspectors
  • Collect and maintain accurate information in the site licensing database
  • Mentor and support field force in growing our licensing knowledge and comfort level with our key customers
  • Enhance clinical relationships with key Oncology customers by calling on Radiation Oncologist to make them advocates of Xofigo within appropriate patient type
  • Assist with the development of training and educational marketing materials
  • Develop Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) for nuclear medicine and radiation oncology
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with state regulators, nuclear medicine and radiation oncology key opinion leaders (KOLs)

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Current license in Nuclear Medicine technology, Radiation Therapy or Nuclear Pharmacy
  • State licensing knowledge and expertise
  • Ability to work with teams
  • Strong clinical expertise in oncology
  • Valid driver's license with a clean record
  • Expecting 50% travel, travel may vary

Nice-to-haves

  • At least five years of industry or clinical experience
  • Commercial and/or clinical development experience
  • Advanced degree in Nuclear Medicine, Radiation Therapy, Medical Imaging or Radiochemistry
  • Experience in oncology, prostate cancer
  • Project management experience
