About the position

The Ramp Agent position at G2 Secure Staff involves providing essential ground support for aircraft operations at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport. This part-time role focuses on baggage handling, mail and freight management, aircraft servicing, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The Ramp Agent plays a critical role in maintaining effective communication with team members and passengers while adhering to company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Handling and caring for passenger baggage, including loading, unloading, and transportation to and from various airport locations.
  • Managing U.S. Mail, freight, and express parcels, ensuring proper loading, unloading, and transportation.
  • Participating actively in the Safety Management System (SMS).
  • Ensuring all ground handling meets customer and G2 specifications.
  • Pushing or towing aircraft to and from designated locations at the airport.
  • Providing technical guidance and assisting front-line employees with functional tasks.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective communication and working relationships with passengers, co-workers, and supervisors.
  • Complying with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards established by the company and regulatory authorities.
  • Performing miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Must submit to and pass a drug screen and background check.
  • Must have a valid driver license.
  • Must meet all requirements to obtain an airport SIDA badge and Customs Seal, including a background check and ten-year work history.
  • Must have a reliable mode of communication and transportation.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating manuals, and employee handbooks.
  • Ability to present information effectively and respond to questions from passengers and management.
  • Effective listening skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in ground handling or aviation services is a plus.
