About the position

The position at Envoy Air involves guiding and directing aircraft on the taxiway, ensuring safe and timely departures, and providing excellent customer service to passengers. Employees will handle baggage and cargo, operate ground equipment, and assist passengers with check-in and ticketing processes. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions, contributing to a positive travel experience for customers.

Responsibilities

• Guide and direct incoming and outgoing aircraft on the taxiway to ensure safe and timely gate operations.
• Load, unload, sort, and transfer passenger baggage, cargo/freight, and company materials, some weighing up to 75 lbs.
• Drive ground equipment such as tugs and belt loaders to assist with aircraft operations.
• Collaborate with the internal team to ensure safe and on-time departures.
• Clean the interior of the aircraft and service aircraft lavatories as needed.
• Greet passengers and provide a seamless check-in and ticketing experience.
• Use reservation/ticketing software to rebook itineraries and issue boarding passes.
• Communicate important information to passengers regarding their trips and belongings.
• Resolve passenger issues in a timely and friendly manner, especially during flight interruptions.
• Work in the Baggage Service Office to track baggage and handle passenger inquiries.

Requirements

• Minimum age: 18
• High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent
• Possess a valid, unexpired state driver's license
• Ability to work rotating shifts including days, overnights, weekends, and holidays
• Flexible to work additional hours with short notice when necessary
• Must be able to carry, bend, lift, and turn with items weighing up to 75 lbs.
• Willingness to work outside in variable weather conditions
• Enjoy working under deadlines and in a physical job outdoors
• Ability to communicate clearly, politely, and friendly
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
