About the position

The Ramp Operations Manager at G2 Secure Staff is responsible for overseeing the daily operations at Bradley International Airport (BDL). This role involves managing staff, scheduling, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational regulations. The ideal candidate will have significant management experience in the aviation services industry, particularly in contract services, and will be tasked with maintaining quality assurance and safety standards while providing excellent service to clients and passengers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations at the airport, including staff management and scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and implement the Safety Management System (SMS).
• Monitor employee activities and adjust schedules as necessary.
• Communicate effectively with employees and client representatives regarding operational issues.
• Conduct quality assurance service audits to meet client specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and report maintenance needs.
• Respond to inquiries from clients, staff, and passengers in a courteous manner.
• Ensure all employees are trained and licensed as required.
• Perform duties of subordinate employees when necessary.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 5 years of management experience in a services industry, preferably in aviation.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience in military police, law enforcement, or industrial security.
• Must possess a valid Driver's License.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug tests.
• Must complete a criminal background check.
