Ramp Supervisor at CLT Airport

About the position

The Ramp Supervisor at G2 Secure Staff is responsible for overseeing airport services at Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT). This role involves managing day-to-day operations, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining positive client relations. The Ramp Supervisor will lead a team, implement safety plans, and ensure quality assurance in operational performance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day activities of specific shift operation including employee group.
• Ensure implementation of the Safety Management System (SMS).
• Implement safety plan for station.
• Maintain Quality Assurance oversight for operational issues relating to performance and safety, providing suitable corrective and/or preventative actions where necessary.
• Maintain accuracy of timekeeping.
• Manage workload effectively.
• Properly utilize company and client vehicles and equipment.
• Report all discrepancies to the Account Manager and/or General Manager.

Requirements

• Must have at least 1 year of supervisor experience.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Operations or Airline experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong computer skills; Word, Excel, data entry skills.
• Flexibility, multitasking, and experience working in a changing environment.
• Must submit to and pass a drug screen and background check.
• Must meet all requirements to obtain an airport SIDA badge and Customs Seal (if applicable), including successfully completing a background check and ten-year work history.
• Must have a reliable mode of communication and transportation.
