About the position

The Ratings Advisory, CPA position at Aon Corporation is part of the Capital Advisory group, focusing on providing tailored advice to clients regarding their capital management and rating agency needs. This role involves client interaction, supporting client relationships, and applying credit rating agency criteria to optimize clients' financial outcomes. The position is hybrid, allowing for remote work depending on qualifications, and is integral to the collaborative efforts within the Capital Advisory team.

Responsibilities

• Advise reinsurance clients through rating agency criteria and capital management strategies.
• Support client relationships and apply credit rating agency criteria.
• Evaluate the impact of reinsurance and other capital solutions on clients' financial statements and credit ratings.
• Develop thought leadership research on behalf of clients.
• Provide analytics and rating advisory support using rating agency capital models and financial forecasts.
• Research and analyze data and client financials through the lens of rating agency criteria.
• Assist in creating presentations and recommendations for rating agency and board-level objectives.
• Track (re)insurance industry trends and translate insights into client recommendations.
• Participate in special projects and contribute to Thought Leadership content.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related role.
• Preferred CPA designation or actively working towards it.
