About The Position
Nucor Steel Arkansas is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Raw Materials Supervisor. The successful candidate will be responsible for the leading the safe operation of the scrap yard, alloy handling, and material handling. They will also be responsible for effectively maintaining raw materials and alloy inventory, managing costs, and overseeing daily operations of the scrap offloading and slag handling contractors. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
