About the position

The position is a SkillBridge Fellowship opportunity at Raytheon, designed for transitioning military service members to gain valuable experience in the aerospace and defense industry. The fellowship provides a comprehensive understanding of supply chain management and program management, allowing fellows to leverage their military skills in a corporate environment. Upon completion, fellows are encouraged to apply for open positions within the company.

Responsibilities

• Support multiple programs as a member of the RVS SCM MPM team.
• Act as a liaison between Supply Chain and program Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).
• Create, manage, and execute the material program strategy (MPS) and material program plan (MPP).
• Provide comprehensive Supply Chain support for Gates 0-11 activities and ensure IPDP compliance.
• Manage financial aspects including earned value (EV), budgets, targets, working capital, and material forecasts.
• Oversee the supplier management process, including risk/opportunity management and supplier performance metrics.
• Communicate customer flow-through requirements such as FAR/DFARS, ITAR, and quality standards.
• Identify and secure Supply Chain resources to support the capture plan and manage proposal pipeline content.

Requirements

• Must be eligible to participate in Fellowship per DoD Instruction 1322.29.
• Projected to receive an honorable discharge from the military.
• Completion of all TAP and transition requirements prior to the start date.
• Approval from Unit Commander or O4+ in the chain of command.
• Located within a commutable distance or willing to relocate to the job location.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in logistics or supply chain management within the military.
• Familiarity with aerospace and defense industry standards and practices.
