About the position

The RC-135 Operations Airborne Systems Engineer (ASE) Training Specialist at Leidos is responsible for providing comprehensive training to ASE operators for the RC-135 fleet. This role involves academic, simulator, and inflight training, ensuring compliance with various aviation regulations and guidelines. The position also requires the analysis of training metrics to assess effectiveness and needs, contributing to the overall mission of the Air Combat Command's Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic, simulator, and inflight training to ASE operators for RC-135 fleets.
• Ensure training complies with FAA, ICAO, and DoD/USAF guidelines.
• Conduct back-end training related to safety and emergency procedures.
• Analyze training data and metrics to assess training effectiveness and needs.
• Report on training accomplishments and current status to leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and four (4) + years of relevant experience, or Associate's degree and six (6) + years of relevant experience.
• Must have flown on the RC-135 within the last four (4) years.
• RC-135 experience is required.
• CFIC certification is necessary.
• Must possess a TS/SCI clearance on day 1.
