About the position

The RCC Retail Data Governance Project Manager at Apple is responsible for overseeing data initiatives that ensure the accuracy and validity of business customer data. This role supports the Retail Business in Core Data initiatives, focusing on data profiling, quality management, and compliance auditing. The position requires collaboration with various teams to resolve data issues and provide insights on operational performance, all within a fast-paced and evolving environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure business customer data is created with accuracy and validity.
• Manage data profiling and document data definitions.
• Establish and manage quality rules for data compliance.
• Audit data for compliance with established standards.
• Query and analyze data from large volume systems to provide insights on operational performance.
• Resolve data issues in near real-time to support business teams.
• Collaborate with Business teams, Channel partners, and PS&T to address common data issues.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in project management, including working with data and insights.
• 2+ years of experience in SQL and data analytics platforms, such as Snowflake.
• Advanced skills in Excel and business intelligence tools like Tableau, Tableau Prep, and FileMaker.

Nice-to-haves

• Strong data analysis skills with experience in detailed analysis of source systems.
• Ability to implement scalable, standard processes and system automation.
• Solid understanding of relational database structures.
• Familiarity with core data management solutions and data quality tools such as Informatica CDQ and Collibra.
• Understanding of data governance and its correlation with business use cases and benefits.
