About the position

As a Revenue Cycle Business Analyst at U.S. Oral Surgery Management, you will play a crucial role in analyzing, optimizing, and managing data and financial processes related to revenue generation and collection. This position involves collaboration with various departments to identify improvement areas and implement strategies to maximize revenue while minimizing leakage. Your expertise in revenue cycle management and data analysis will significantly contribute to the company's financial health and success.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and optimize data, reporting, and financial processes related to revenue generation and collection.
  • Build models and reporting to support business functions related to managing AR Aging and drive performance towards KPI goals.
  • Perform scheduled and ad hoc data requests, including weekly AR Dashboards and monthly KPI scorecards.
  • Load data from various sources into Excel models for QA and complete quarterly compensation true-up models.
  • Utilize the Heisenberg H2 System and collaborate with technology vendors for model builds and improvements.
  • Validate data and perform quality assurance to ensure accuracy in reporting.
  • Manage stakeholder communication and address complaints through root cause analysis and process improvements.
  • Identify performance improvement opportunities using KPIs and create narratives for actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with IT and internal stakeholders to enhance RCM reporting and dashboards.
  • Manage email workflow and support requests for ad hoc reporting through the RCM ticketing system.
  • Stay informed about internal and external changes to proactively advance departmental needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in analytics or data science preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a medical and/or dental environment.
  • Strong skillset in building and utilizing Excel models.
  • Mastery of Excel, Power BI, Domo, and ad hoc reporting.
  • Ability to pull source data from specific PM systems and perform ETL on large datasets.
  • Proficient in SQL for data analysis and visualization.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to support senior executive leadership.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with healthcare data and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Legal knowledge of collection laws and regulations.
