About the position

The RCM Operations Manager at Experity, Inc. is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) services, ensuring effective team management, and maintaining high-quality service delivery. This role involves training and mentoring team members, resolving operational issues, and collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance the efficiency of RCM processes. The position also requires strong analytical skills to prepare performance reports and manage system configurations accurately.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of all RCM services or individual functional teams with either stateside, offshore or a hybrid team.
  • Train, develop, and mentor team members by assessing needs and addressing performance and behavior strengths/weaknesses through timely coaching feedback, performance appraisals, and corrective action plans.
  • Ensure that training and mentoring of team members follows RCM outline.
  • Identify issues such as payer, claims, key performance indicators, client, EDI, and payment issues, and perform root cause analysis and resolutions in a timely manner.
  • Organizational navigation for collaboration and issue resolution.
  • Accurately track team attendance, work schedules, payroll, and quality assurance of work, recording productivity.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, clients, third-party agencies, and other Experity departments.
  • Demonstrate solid listening skills to identify issues and facilitate discussion and resolution.
  • Participate in interviewing and hiring of new team members.
  • Prepare statistical reports for areas of responsibility.
  • Responsible for system configuration accuracy related to their areas of oversight.
  • Create, maintain, review, and enforce standardized operating procedures with team members.
  • Prepare, complete, review, and interpret performance reports.
  • Travel for client visits or Experity meetings, as needed.
  • Support CSM team on client needs/escalations.
  • Attend client calls to support CSM team as needed.
  • Timely response to client calls and communication.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least five years of medical billing experience.
  • Two years of management experience.
  • Two years of offshore labor experience.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Strong PowerBI/Data Analytics Tool skills.
