About the position

The Re-Entry Employment Case Manager at TRAC Associates is a full-time role focused on supporting formerly incarcerated individuals in their journey towards meaningful employment. This position involves empowering participants with essential skills, resources, and confidence to secure jobs, while also collaborating with local employers and community organizations to create job opportunities and advocate for fair hiring practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform needs assessments for clients.
• Provide individualized career counseling, resume building, and interview preparation.
• Assist with career exploration and vocational training options based on individual interests.
• Collaborate with local employers to create job opportunities and advocate for fair hiring practices for individuals with a criminal history.
• Build and maintain partnerships with community organizations, correctional facilities, and other stakeholders to enhance the effectiveness of the Reentry Program.
• Track and report on the progress of program participants, contributing to the overall success and impact of our initiatives.
• Meet monthly goals and deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Must have own transportation.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience conducting job search support and placement (building resumes, career exploration, site development, placement, etc.) required.
• Experience in community outreach to promote the program.
• Experience working with the Re-entry population is a plus.
