What you'll do: Please note the Eaton ReSurge cohort will begin their 12-month assignment in March of 2025. The Communications Specialist will be responsible for helping drive strategic and tactical communications programs that advance Project Center's goals and strategic initiatives. A particular focus will be placed on: • Proactively researching and identify groups of stakeholders, both internally and externally, and creating relevant distribution lists for training needs and overall communication. • Leveraging existing internal communication tools and best practices, the Communications Specialist will align with various members of the Construction Digitalization/Project Center business team, seeking out communication opportunities for their individual initiatives. • Enhancing stakeholder experiences by developing strategies optimizing Project Center's monthly enhancement release cycle, ensuring clarity and effective communication of updates to all appropriate parties. • Pinpointing training needs by analyzing user feedback, metrics, and communication trends. • Coordinating and/or delegating communications logistics (i.e., stakeholder group, required content, length, initial presentation layout, etc.) Provide support in creation when needed. • Assessing the effectiveness of communication campaigns, creating, and utilizing metrics and feedback to refine future implementation strategies. • Strong aptitude for verbalizing, writing, editing, and publishing audience-specific content. • Robust foundational knowledge or quick learning agility of Microsoft Office tools including (but not limited to) Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Viva Engage and Excel • Ability to influence and direct colleagues at all organizational levels, managing the needs of different stakeholders both internal and external to Eaton. • Virtual presentation skills • Ability to work independently on a matrixed, decentralized team with minimal supervision. Qualifications: Required (Basic) qualifications: Bachelors degree from an accredited institution Minimum three (3) years work experience No relocation is offered for this position. All candidates must currently reside within 50 miles of Arden, NC or Moon Township, PA to be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. The salary for this role is $90,000 a year.
