About the position

Eaton's Marketing and Commercial Operations (MCO) organization is seeking a Copywriter for a hybrid role that combines in-office and remote work. This position is part of Eaton's ReSurge Program, designed to support individuals rejoining the workforce after a career break. The Copywriter will develop engaging content to promote Eaton's products and services, working closely with the Marketing Communications team. This role offers a unique opportunity to refresh skills and gain diverse experiences while collaborating with experienced leaders and mentors.

Responsibilities

• Develop engaging and persuasive content for various marketing materials including brochures, social media posts, and website copy.
• Serve as a scrum team developer to create compelling content and ensure timely messaging aligned with objectives.
• Understand and accurately represent Eaton's brand voice, promise, attributes, and standards in all communications.
• Write, review, and edit content for correct brand voice and messaging.
• Optimize content for SEO.
• Collaborate with marketing communications team members to create copy that supports various marketing tactics.
• Meet with subject matter experts to develop content outlines and review drafts.
• Review and copyedit content developed by other team members.
• Stay current on best practices in search engine optimization and brand messaging.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum three (3) years work experience.
• Must reside within 50 miles of Moon Township PA, Beachwood OH, or Arden NC.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Nice-to-haves

• 1+ year of a voluntary career break from your profession.
• Experience working in an agile team or scrum certified.
