About the position

We are seeking an experienced React Developer to support the development of an internal tool designed to streamline development planning and execution. This tool integrates closely with Jira and is aimed at enhancing the productivity of over 5,000 developers and 1,000 product managers. The role involves significant new code development and maintenance to make the tool enterprise-grade and scalable.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, and Users to enhance and scale the internal tool.
• Participate in daily stand-up calls and sprint planning meetings.
• Write clean, testable, and efficient code, focusing on React for new development.
• Integrate the tool with Jira and ensure it meets the needs of a large, diverse user base.
• Develop features that enhance the user experience and tool performance.
• Work in an Agile environment, contributing to quick sprint cycles and regular demos.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience as a UI Developer, primarily focusing on web applications and internal tool development.
• Proficiency in React, with strong skills in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and consuming JSON data.
• Demonstrated ability to develop in an Agile/Scrum environment with 2-week sprints.
• Strong experience writing testable code and working with test automation frameworks.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams.
• Experience building tools that scale across large teams, focusing on performance and usability.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with jQuery for data retrieval.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms.
