About the position

Cognizant is seeking an experienced React Developer with .NET expertise to join their Digital Engineering team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-based software applications for a diverse range of global clients. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications using React and the .NET framework.
• Work with technologies such as C#, ASP.NET, and Hot Chocolate, as well as front-end web development technologies like React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle, including requirement gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate with team members to gather and understand requirements for new features and enhancements.
• Develop and maintain front-end web components using React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Design and develop software using the .NET framework, including C#, ASP.NET, and Hot Chocolate.
• Build and consume RESTful web services and APIs.
• Write unit tests and integration tests to ensure code quality and maintainability.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to other team members.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues.
• Continuously improve the software development process and practices.
• Communicate with stakeholders and other team members to ensure project goals are met.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends.

Requirements

• Experience with ASP.NET and C#.
• Strong skills in React and front-end web development technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
• Experience with back-end development and RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of DDD design patterns, CQRS, and Clean architecture.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and participation in agile ceremonies.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
• Knowledge of cloud-based solutions and technologies.
