About the position

We are seeking a skilled React Developer with .NET Core experience to join our team in Seattle for a contract position lasting 6+ months. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing user interfaces using React and will be proficient in building and maintaining applications using .NET Core. This role requires a deep understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. In this position, you will be responsible for designing and implementing responsive web applications that provide a seamless user experience. You will work closely with UX/UI designers to translate design wireframes into functional code, ensuring that applications are optimized for performance and scalability. Additionally, you will be involved in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and analysis to deployment and maintenance. The React Developer will also be expected to write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews to uphold coding standards. You will troubleshoot and debug applications, and work on enhancing existing features while also developing new functionalities. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using React and .NET Core.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement user-friendly interfaces.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance.
• Enhance existing features and develop new functionalities as required.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a React Developer with a strong understanding of React.js and its core principles.
• Experience with .NET Core and building RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel, NPM).
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, including ES6+ features.
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with TypeScript is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
