About the position

Luxoft is seeking a React Full Stack Developer to work with a major investment management company in Southern California. The role involves full-stack development using Java and React, focusing on upgrading technology and enhancing web services. The developer will collaborate with a SCRUM team, engage with clients, and contribute to the continual improvement of development processes.

Responsibilities

• Work in a SCRUM team and collaborate closely with clients and business analysts to understand new requirements.
• Develop and present recommendations based on analysis of the current solution.
• Assist in code peer reviews and build/test functional enhancements.
• Identify areas for code refactoring to improve code quality.
• Review and contribute to the development process and procedures for continual improvement.
• Responsible for full-stack development of Java and React code to meet specifications and designs using best practices.
• Develop a world-class web services code-base.
• Estimate effort and breakdown tasks for implementing new changes, identifying risks.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript programming language.
• Broad experience with modern JS frameworks, particularly React.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with AWS services such as ECS, EKS, Fargate, S3, EFS, and Lambda.
• Experience in building and deploying CI/CD AWS code pipelines for microservices.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Angular and jQuery.
• Exposure to machine learning.
