About the position

The React Developer will join the optimization group of an Oil and Gas employer in Downtown Houston. This role focuses on developing new software and maintaining existing software for the optimization and automation of field equipment. The developer will collaborate with data teams, real-time operations information systems teams, and field engineers to gather requirements and deliver solutions for optimization software. The position requires onsite work five days a week.

Responsibilities

• Develop new software for optimization and automation of equipment.
• Upgrade, enhance, and maintain existing software.
• Communicate with data teams and field engineers to gather requirements.
• Deliver solutions for optimization software.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• 5+ years of experience with React (React 18 preferred).
• Strong experience with Typescript.
• Experience with Express servers.
• Experience with Node.
• Experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Background in UI/UX.
• Experience working with real-time sensor data or IoT data.
