About the position

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design and build back-end services that support our data-centric clinical and analytic applications. This role involves leveraging cloud computing, big data, and machine learning to create resilient micro-services that meet uptime and accuracy targets. The engineer will collaborate with various teams to develop applications that enhance our practice and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Design and build back-end services for data-centric clinical and analytic applications.
• Ensure cloud-based micro-services adhere to uptime and accuracy targets.
• Collaborate with data engineering, platform, and solutions teams to develop applications.
• Translate requirements into code in collaboration with Product Owners and Managers.
• Develop services around data warehousing, big data, cloud computing, business intelligence, analytics, and machine learning.
• Participate in DevOps, Agile, continuous development, and integration frameworks.
• Program in high-level languages such as Go, Python, and Java.
• Maintain appropriate documentation of processes and source code.
• Communicate effectively with peers, leaders, and customers.
• Participate in troubleshooting and resolve problems through root cause analysis.
• Contribute to design and architecture discussions with Principals and Architects.
• Lead cross-functional improvement efforts and mentor junior software engineers.
• Solve complex problems and take new perspectives on existing solutions.
• Work independently with minimal guidance and lead projects or project steps.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with React
• Experience with NextJS
• AEM experience
