As a React Developer on the Digital Team within the Marketing Sales and Digital (MSD) Organization at Capital Group, you will have the exciting opportunity to design innovative solutions, develop cutting-edge features, and deploy high-performing, resilient systems using AWS cloud technology. This role is pivotal in envisioning, developing, and launching solutions that deliver unparalleled user experiences and transformative capabilities. You will contribute to solution delivery through various Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) activities, including analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support for multiple features within a product or the full scope of the product. While you will act with substantial autonomy, you will also seek input and approval from senior associates to ensure alignment with organizational goals and standards. In this role, you will be expected to leverage your expertise in React.js and its core concepts, including JSX, event handling, local state management, and hooks. You will also be skilled in state management libraries like Flux or Redux, and proficient in HTML/CSS, TypeScript, and REST APIs. Familiarity with build tools such as linters, formatters, and bundlers is essential. Experience in full-stack development with Java, Spring Boot, Data Modeling, and SQL is a plus, as is familiarity with Next.js. You will have a minimum of 3 years of experience incorporating best practices related to APIs, such as OAuth, SSL, CORS, and JWT, and you will excel at producing visually appealing designs focused on usability, utility, UX, cross-browser compatibility, and performance. Your work examples should include ReactJS libraries and development tools such as Material UI, Vitest, and Storybook, as well as experience working from design applications like Figma. Additionally, you will have at least 1 year of experience in DevOps practices using Terraform, Harness Code Pipelines, and deploying in AWS EKS or similar cloud offerings. Practical knowledge of other AWS services, such as AWS Gateway, Lambda, and Aurora/Postgres, along with AWS certifications, is preferred.
