About the position

The React Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing custom software and database applications for both legacy and modernized systems. This role requires collaboration within a product team to ensure the success of the product and the team, with a focus on continuous improvement and quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and implementing custom software and database application capabilities for a variety of legacy and modernized systems with limited oversight
• Acting as a member of a product team supporting teammates and collaborating to ensure product and team success
• Providing improvements to the product(s) being supported
• Actively participating in release and sprint planning, artifact creation, sprint testing, regression testing, demonstrations, and retrospectives
• Supporting release planning with conceptual design and development/refinement of software engineering guidelines
• Analyzing complex project-related problems and creating innovative solutions
• Ensuring product quality and timeliness of work, providing advice and guidance, resolving problems to meet objectives, and providing periodic performance reports
• Providing mentoring to junior members of the team

Requirements

• Proficiency in React and related technologies
• Experience with software development and database applications
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and innovative thinking
• Experience in agile methodologies and sprint planning

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with legacy systems
• Experience in mentoring junior developers
