About the position

The React Front End Developer will join a fully remote development team at Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC, focusing on enhancing and maintaining a React frontend application for a SaaS platform in the event ticketing industry. The role emphasizes collaboration with backend, product, and UX teams to achieve shared goals, requiring effective communication and teamwork.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript development (browser-based).
• Experience or familiarity with frontend JavaScript frameworks (React preferred).
• Solid knowledge of development using TypeScript.
• Good command of other frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, CSS frameworks like Tailwind).
• Understanding of version control using Git.
• Familiarity with Agile development and experience using work-tracking tools such as Jira.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and the ability to integrate frontend code with backend services.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with large enterprise-grade web application development (e.g., unit test frameworks, module loaders like Vite, Micro frontends, BFF).
• Some familiarity with cloud-based development (e.g., Azure, GitHub, microservices, containers).
• Knowledge of backend API development using the .NET framework.
