About the position

Kforce's client is seeking a team of Intermediate to Senior React Java v8+ Spring Boot AWS Engineers to work on microservices in Wilmington, DE. This full-time position involves developing applications using Java, Spring Boot, and AWS technologies, with a focus on both backend and frontend development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain microservices using Java Spring and Spring Boot.
• Implement AWS services including EKS, ECS, S3, and IAM policies.
• Collaborate with the Scrum Team Lead to gather requirements and ensure application stability.
• Participate in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Utilize CI/CD practices to enhance application resiliency and security.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Java Spring; 2 years of experience with Spring Boot building microservices.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services, particularly EKS, ECS, S3, and IAM policies.
• Experience with React for frontend development (25% of the role).
• Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases, ideally PostgreSQL and/or DynamoDB.
• Good communication skills and experience working in an End-2-End Scrum Team.

Nice-to-haves

• Understanding of development in a Serverless Architecture.
• Experience with AWS CloudWatch.
