About the position

The React Java Developer position at DTS involves working closely with development project teams, UI/UX designers, and business analysts to create and maintain reusable UI components that are accessible, performant, scalable, and robust. The role requires a strong understanding of compliance standards such as WCAG 2.1 and ADA, as well as experience in Agile development environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain reusable UI components using React.js.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and business analysts to ensure user-friendly designs.
• Test all development for accessibility using Jaws reader and browser plugins.
• Ensure compliance with ADA, WCAG 2.1, and Section 508 standards.
• Participate in Agile development processes.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience with React.js.
• 5 years of experience with HTML5 and CSS Frameworks.
• 5 years of knowledge in ADA, WCAG 2.1, Section 508 compliance policies, and User Experience design principles.
• 3 years of experience with current JAVA and relevant IDE tools such as Eclipse/Jboss Developer Studio.
• 2 years of experience programming with JPA framework.
• 2 years of experience programming with current Spring framework.
• 2 years of experience programming with Spring Boot and Spring Data.
• 3 years of experience programming with Java 8+.
• 2 years of experience in an Agile development environment.

Nice-to-haves

• 2 years of experience programming in the JBOSS Enterprise environment.
