About the position

The React Developer with Node.js will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-performance web applications. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure exceptional user experiences and the implementation of robust front-end architecture. The developer will also be tasked with building RESTful APIs and microservices, optimizing application performance, and troubleshooting issues as they arise.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-performance, scalable, and user-friendly web applications using React and Node.js.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other engineers to deliver exceptional user experiences.
• Design and implement robust front-end architecture using React and related libraries.
• Build RESTful APIs and microservices using Node.js and Express.
• Develop and maintain efficient data storage and retrieval mechanisms.
• Write clean, well-documented, and tested code.
• Optimize application performance for speed and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, React, and Node.js.
• Experience with front-end libraries and frameworks such as Redux, Next.js, or Gatsby.
• Familiarity with RESTful API design and development.
• Familiarity with serverless approach using AWS Lambda (Node.js), API Gateway, DynamoDB and Eventbridge.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
