About the position

Infosys is seeking a Java React Developer who will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The role involves creating high-level design artifacts, delivering high-quality code, leading validation for testing, and supporting implementation and warranty activities. The position emphasizes teamwork, collaboration, and a culture of continuous improvement, with a focus on diversity and excellence.

Responsibilities

• Interface with key stakeholders to gather requirements and define application architecture.
• Create high-level design artifacts for software applications.
• Deliver high-quality code for assigned modules.
• Lead validation for all types of testing related to the software.
• Support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty.
• Work collaboratively in a team environment and interface with clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution.
• At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
• At least 4 years of experience with UI technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular) and Java/J2EE.
• At least 4 years of experience in design and architecture review.
• Deep knowledge of React JS and Redux practices.
• Working knowledge of Elastic JS and Next JS.
• Experience in creating self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components.
• Ability to write efficient selectors and understand CSS rule specificity.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work in a global delivery environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with 3rd party libraries for DOM manipulation.
• Understanding of JavaScript event model.
