About the position

Infosys is seeking a Java and React JS Full Stack Developer who will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The role involves creating high-level design artifacts, delivering high-quality code, leading validation for testing, and supporting implementation and transition activities. The position emphasizes teamwork, collaboration, and a culture of continuous improvement, with a focus on diversity and respect.

Responsibilities

  • Interface with key stakeholders to gather requirements and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the SDLC.
  • Create high-level design artifacts and deliver high-quality code for a module.
  • Lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty.
  • Work collaboratively in a learning culture that encourages teamwork and excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 6 years of experience in Information Technology, with a minimum of 4 years as a Java and ReactJS Full Stack Developer.
  • Strong expertise in Java and proficiency in React, including hooks, state management, and component-based architecture.
  • Advanced knowledge of modern JavaScript (ES6+) for building interactive and dynamic interfaces.
  • Experience with state management libraries, especially Redux or context API.
  • Strong understanding of HTML5 and CSS3 for UI development, along with responsive design principles.
  • Ability to integrate with RESTful APIs for complex data flow between front-end and back-end services.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks and libraries (Jest, Enzyme, or React Testing Library) for unit and integration testing.
  • Proficiency with Git for version control, including branching and pull request workflows.
  • Experience with Agile practices and methodologies.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in software development life cycle and translating functional/non-functional requirements to system requirements.
  • Ability to design according to functional and non-functional needs and provide multiple solution options.
  • Strong knowledge of application development technologies, tools, methodologies, and all functional areas in IT.
  • Experience in production support and performance engineering.
  • Analytical skills and experience in a global delivery environment.
  • Expertise in tools like JIRA, Kibana, New Relic, and Grafana.
